How do I update the firmware of my Wireless CarPlay adapter?

Very few car models require a firmware upgrade to work better, if the adapter works fine, no upgrade is needed. You can follow the steps below to complete the firmware upgrade. Please do not power off the adapter during the upgrade:

1) Plug the adapter into the USB port of the car, turn on the power, and the indicator light Cyan.

2) Use your iPhone to join the adapter's Wi-Fi "Cp1-****", the connection password is "12345678". 

3) Open the browser of your iPhone, then input  "192.168.1.101" in the address bar, and enter the problem submission and firmware upgrade page. (If the primary IP:192.168.1.101 upgrade is abnormal, please try the alternate IP 101.32.190.179 for upgrade.)

 4) Scroll to the bottom of the page, see the available firmware version under "Online Update", click the "update" button.

5) When the update progress bar reaches 100%, the system automatically restarts and upgrades. During the system upgrade process, please do not power off. 

6)Then disconnect and reconnect the adapter from the USB port to finish the whole update.

7) After the update is complete, please forget the "Cp1-****" network connection in the Wi-Fi settings so that it can be used normally next time.
